We’re taking extended measures such as designating appointment times for high-risk patients, testing our staff daily for COVID-19, and testing patients’ temperatures before we admit them. We ensure that check-ins are contact-free, in part by reducing our patient volume so that we can guarantee there will be no contact with other patients from check-in to departure. Furthermore, we provide additional signage to ensure social distancing in public areas.
We are also equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all staff and patients if needed. After every exam, we perform a deep clean of the changing room, exam room, and mammography system. The hygiene pads we apply to the breast tray are single use. During the exam, we also provide single use sealed bags to hygienically store clothing and personal items. We take every precaution possible, because the health and well-being of everyone at our facility is our top priority.
